"When our mum died, we wanted some flowers from the family to take to the burial ground. My mum chose a natural burial. Traditional arrangements seemed too formal, so we spoke to Frances at Dahlia and de Renzy. Frances seemed to understand straight away that we wanted an informal bouquet. My mum had a lifelong interest in the natural world and wild flowers in particular. Using her unique understanding of the messages that can be conveyed in flowers, Frances expressed the feelings of the family creating an informal arrangement containing Statice, reflecting loss and remembrance, Lily for the death of a loved one, Baby’s Breath for everlasting love, Cosmos for peace and Ivy for atonement. The arrangement was naturalistic in a soft colour palette which my mum would have loved. Thank you Frances, for taking such care in your selection and arranging them so beautifully."
